Anahola Beach Park
Leaving Kapaa, heading north, your going to take the next right after the 13 mile marker. This is Kukui Hale and it will take you towards Anahola Beach Park. You'll head down toward the ocean, then the road goes left. When you get to the bottom, you'll see some beach access on the right. You can turn on the dirt road and can either go at 90degrees toward the sand or back at around 150 degrees toward the beach park. The beach park has accessible bathrooms, lifeguard station, picnic areas and grass. There is a good size levy type hill to ascend that has trails cut in it to lessen the slope and might be managed depending on your ability. The last time I went, the road was so full of potholes and those potholes full of water, that I never made it to the end. If you go at a 90 towards the ocean there is a nice spot to pull up to the edge of the sand with a nice view. Sand access is pretty flat and sand is medium grain. Good spot to see the water and there are areas that are protected by reef and are swim-able, if you're up to it. It’s another beach that you could drive out on if you had 4-wheel drive.
